GLENN MILLER

                                         GLENN MILLER SIGNED MONTAGE

A fantastic 29"x 22" piece of vintage music memorabilia a 10" x 8" black and white photo along with the vintage signature signed in penil of the iconic Glenn Miller, this is from a large personal collection owned by Ms Syble Rolk who worked in the wardrobe department of 20th century-fox from the early 1940's until the late 1960's which I was fortunate to obtain recently. Mounted in gray velvet and black in traditional frame and engraved plaque. He was an American big-band trombonist, arranger, composer, and bandleader in the swing era. He was the best-selling recording artist from 1939 to 1943, leading one of the best-known big bands. His recordings include "In the Mood", "Moonlight Serenade", "Pennsylvania 6-5000", "Chattanooga Choo Choo", "A String of Pearls", "At Last", "(I've Got a Gal In) Kalamazoo", "American Patrol", "Tuxedo Junction", "Elmer's Tune", and "Little Brown Jug".In just four years he scored 16 number-one records and 69 top ten hits—more than Elvis Presley (38 top 10s) and the Beatles (33 top 10s)did in their careers. While he was traveling to entertain U.S. troops in France during World War II, his aircraft disappeared in bad weather over the English Channel. I have been collecting for over 40 years and during this time have been buying and selling celebrity, sport, music, film and television memorabilia. All my autographs have been hand-signed by the stated person. I don't sell printed, secretarial or any other kind of fake autographs. Every autographed purchased is guaranteed on grounds of authenticity and will be issued with a COA, and my contact details. I collect stock myself or through a number trusted contacts who i have been dealing with over a number of years.
